Your Venture. Your Y.

"AI expands the branches โ€” but you must still walk the Y."

With the Y-Method โ€” Judi Snell / CAiG.

1

Your Y

Where your WHY, the PROBLEM, and your VALUE connect โ€” that's your venture's foundation. AI can't do this part for you.

Where the branches meet โ€” that's your venture.

When your WHY, PROBLEM, and VALUE connect, your path becomes clear.

WHY

Who are you serving? What would change for them?

PROBLEM

What specific gap are you addressing?

VALUE

What do you uniquely bring to it?

โœ๏ธ Fill in your Y

๐Ÿ‘ค Your name
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Before we start: if someone gave you five new employees tomorrow morning, what would you ask them to do first?
๐ŸŒฑ My venture's WHY
๐Ÿ” The PROBLEM I'm solving
โญ My VALUE โ€” what I uniquely bring
2

Your #1 Bottleneck

Select the one thing most holding you back right now. This is what we'll work on live in the AI Lab.

3

Build Your AI Prompt โ€” Live

The most important thing is not prompt engineering. It is knowing where you are going and how you want AI to help you get there. Fill these in โ€” you are not writing a clever prompt, you are setting an intention. No tech budget required.

Free AI Tools You Can Use Right Now

Claude: claude.ai  ยท  ChatGPT: chatgpt.com  ยท  Gemini: gemini.google.com โ€” all free to start!

โœ๏ธ Customize YOUR Prompt

๐Ÿ’ผ My venture is about
๐ŸŒ The community I serve
๐Ÿšง My #1 bottleneck right now
โ›“๏ธ My biggest constraint

Women adopt AI for business roughly 25% less than men โ€” in a sector overwhelmingly led by women. That gap is one of the reasons why this room exists.

๐ŸฅŠ

Now make it push back

AI is trained to agree with you. Pitch it an idea and it nods โ€” and that confidence is manufactured. Real power starts when it argues back.

Paste this after any answer you get:

Red team this. What would make it fail? What am I not seeing because I want this to work? What sounds great in theory but collapses at scale?

Use the term "red team" exactly. It will know what to do.

๐ŸŽค

Tip: you can speak to AI too

Use the voice feature on your phone to speak your prompt out loud. AI will listen and respond โ€” no typing needed.

4

AI Generates โ€” You Decide

The greatest risk isn't a poor answer. It's accepting an answer without exercising judgment.

๐Ÿงญ
AI generates โ€” you decide. You are the expert on your community. Always ask: does this fit my context, my culture, my people?
๐Ÿ”
Check for bias before you share. AI is trained on global data that may not reflect your community. Verify facts against what you know on the ground.
๐Ÿ“ฎ
The Postcard Rule. Nothing goes into a free AI tool that you would not write on a postcard. No names, no personal details, no financials, no client information about the people you serve. Use fictional examples or anonymized descriptions.
โš–๏ธ
Free tools have trade-offs. Keep sensitive strategic information out of public AI tools until you understand the privacy terms.
